Damask jeans c/o David Kahn Jeans,
Mesh chemise (don't know the designer, but similar style here),
Pepper boots c/o 80%20 (last seen here),
Vintage crossbody bag and bracelet.
New York weather has been stormy and on-and-off the past few days - think 90 degrees, then pouring - which makes it almost impossible to dress appropriately, no matter how hard you try.
My solution? Brave the storm with some sturdy ankle boots (I love the hidden wedge on these ones), a sheer top, and a light pair of jeans. Micol and I are obsessed with these David Kahn jeans right now... so obsessed actually that we both got a pair for ourselves. The pattern and fit are incredible, and they're so lightweight they almost feel like leggings. The day we mistakenly both wear them out should prove to be a hilarious one...
What are your plans this weekend? We'll be in Fire Island with 13 of our friends, praying for better weather than the forecast predicts. Wish us luck!

The weather's been like that here – you are correct that it makes getting dressed SO difficult. I am loving these jeans and boots – I've got a different pair of 80%20 boots with a hidden wedge – love that.
